Oncosence Screening Platforms for Senescence and Senolytic Targets

Senescence Screening Platform: Cancer cells harboring a reporter gene that is activated during senescence are used for genome-scale genetic screens to find genes whose suppression causes senescence in cancer. Using this platform, multiple pro-senescence genes and compounds have been identified. Reference: Wang et al. Cell reports 21, 773-783 (2017).
